François Louis Fournier-Sarlovèze (6 September 1773 Sarlat, France – 18 January 1827) was a French general of the Napoleonic Wars. He was known as "the worst subject of the Grande Armée."

During the Russian Campaign, he commanded the 31st Brigade of Light Cavalry, composed of the Baden Hussars, the Hessian and Westphalian Chevau-légers. He led a cavalry charge in the Battle of Smolensk. Promoted to general of division on 11 November 1812, Fournier served in 1813 at Gross-Beeren and at Leipzig where he led the 6th Light Cavalry Division in the III Cavalry Corps. He was appointed Count of the Empire, but deprived again of this rank on 26 October 1813, following a verbal dispute with Napoleon.

As a young officer in Napoleon's Army, Dupont was ordered to deliver a disagreeable message to a fellow officer, Fournier, a rabid duellist. Fournier, taking out his subsequent rage on the messenger, challenged Dupont to a duel. This sparked a succession of encounters, waged with sword and pistol, that spanned decades. The contest was eventually resolved when Dupont was able to overcome Fournier in a pistol duel, forcing him to promise never to bother him again. His figure was inspiration for the Conrad novel "The Duellists"

First Gribeauval french Carriages test casts.

French Army had a very well developed and standardised system of carriages and guns, mainly from Gribeauval whom ideas where used in many realms of the time. We are producing a large series of there vehicles from historical drawings, the masters are modelled and printed in 3D and adapted for mould making and casting.. It is a long process which takes several months to develop quality miniatures.. Here some of the first painted test casts.

The Berline of the Emperor and staff

The work for Napoleon's Berline includes more than 40 pieces and figures, Napoleon and his Marechal Berthier , 4 valets, 3 drivers and a 4 horse team; all te carriage parts are scratch built by me and i hope they will be anough precise like the ed printed parts i often use as masters. Anyway the Berline is now to be tested for Mould and casting i hope few problems will raise, and i have to test the assembly process to see if it works, since it is impossible to test it before; carriages need always more corrections than figures.

In this case you can see some conversions of the French Line Elites in Guard Units, but the heads can also be applied to other brands like Esci, Italeri, Hat etc.
